400 Easter Eggs Donated to Children’s Charities

400 easter eggs have been donated to children’s charities across Mid & North Cornwall and are now making their way to: Little harbour, children’s hospice south west, Go beyond, formerly known as chicks in Tywardreath, a respite retreat supporting children and families, CHAT! a children’s therapy charity based in St Columb, TREYLA, a Cornish charity supporting children and young adults from disadvantaged areas, Cornwall Hospice and the Brandon Trust. This has all been made possible by the charitable donations from the Freemasons of Cornwall and the members, their families, and friends of One & All lodge based in Bodmin.

Over the past few years, the Members of One & All Lodge No.330 along with the members of other Orders that use Freemasons Hall Bodmin, have run an Easter Egg Collection in aid of various Children’s Charities across Mid & North Cornwall. This year to assist with the social distancing measures, this initiative moved online via the assistance of a PayPal Pool.

The members, families and friends of One & All and St Nicholas Lodge of Mark Master Masons this year have donated enough funds to allow for the purchase of 400 Easter Egg’s, an absolutely fantastic effort by all those involved. Rosie Trevains, wife of One & All’s Treasurer David said, “I really wanted to continue the good work that has occurred over the last few years, and the online donation seemed this easiest way to do it. I had hoped we could equal the numbers we were able to collect last year, when we were able to donate around 70 egg’s but to have raised enough money to be able to donate 400, well it’s amazing”.
