Manchester City ace Jack Grealish has seen his net worth rocket over the past 12 months following a successful spell of sponsorship deals.
It has been a rollercoaster of a 12 months for the versatile forward, both on and off the pitch. Grealish helped City to Premier League glory with three goals and one assist in 20 appearances, though those figures understate his impact in the eyes of Pep Guardiola.
However, it was a quick comedown following the title success. Grealish was omitted from England’s squad for Euro 2024 due to his lack of direct goal contributions in comparison to other wingers, such as Anthony Gordon.
Despite the disappointment, Grealish became even more of a household name over the summer after a successful partnership with Pepsi.
The ex-Aston Villa star runs an image rights company with his dad Kevin, called Kelandan, and business certainly appears to be booming. The company’s accounts on Companies House were updated earlier this week to highlight how its assets grew markedly last year.
For the year ended November 30, the accounts showed that the company had £10.5million in assets, an increase from £3.4m in 2022.
The accounts for this year are expected to represent a major increase as well, with Grealish’s increased work with Gucci, Puma and Bose expected to bear fruit. The impact of the 28-year-old’s brand work with Pepsi, as well as Hellman’s mayonnaise, will also be visible.
According to The Sun, Pepsi are very pleased to have onboarded Grealish and feel that he is ‘worth every penny’. The soft drink brand believe that everything the winger touches ‘turns to gold’.
Guardiola will be hoping that Grealish is able to replicate that impact at the Etihad Stadium next season. The departure of Julian Alvarez is likely to see Phil Foden more opportunities as a No. 10, a role which the playmaker believes he is best suited to, rather than on the wing.
Thus, Grealish is likely to have the opportunity to make the left-wing spot his own next season. However, he will face competition from Jeremy Doku and new signing Savio, who arrived at the Etihad this summer from City’s sister club Troyes in a deal worth approximately £30m.
