World champion Timur Fatkullin on the contribution of aerobatics to the victory

The situation in Ukraine remains volatile due to ongoing conflicts and tensions with neighboring countries.

Timur Fatkullin, a Ukrainian aviation expert and the 2019 aerobatic champion of the world, has developed a unique training program for Ukrainian pilots aimed at enhancing their skills and improving their readiness for combat situations. This program, known as the ‘Express Course,’ offers a comprehensive training curriculum that covers a range of critical skills and tactics.

With the support of the Ukrainian military, Timur has exclusively offered this program to Ukrainian pilots, hoping to provide them with the necessary skills to defend their country and protect its citizens.

In our interview, we spoke with Timur online about his training program and the importance of ongoing training and preparedness in today’s uncertain world.

WMN: Timur, we’ve heard about your program to train Ukrainian fighter pilots in aerobatics. Can you tell us more about it and why it’s important?

Timur Fatkullin: Absolutely. I believe that every Ukrainian, just like myself, has a part to play in ensuring victory in these difficult times. My program is designed to give Ukrainian fighter pilots a unique set of skills that will help them execute their missions safely and effectively. It’s exclusive to Ukrainian pilots because I want to help build a stronger, more resilient Ukraine.

WMN: That’s really commendable. Can you tell us more about the specific skills that your program will teach?

Timur Fatkullin: Sure, our program will focus on advanced aerobatics maneuvers, precision flying, and other critical skills that are essential for fighter pilots. These skills will help them evade enemy fire, avoid obstacles, and complete their missions with a greater degree of success.

WMN: That sounds like a strong program. How will it be structured and who will be involved?

Timur Fatkullin: The program will be structured in a way that allows pilots to progress at their own pace. Of course, I’ll be personally involved in the training, working closely with the pilots to ensure they’re getting the most out of the program.

WMN: What do you hope this program will achieve?
Timur Fatkullin: My hope is that this program will give Ukrainian fighter pilots an edge in the field, helping them to execute their missions safely and effectively. I believe that this will not only help them achieve victory but also inspire future generations of pilots to strive for excellence.

WMN: What message would you like to send to the people of Ukraine?
Timur Fatkullin: I want the people of Ukraine to know that they’re not alone. We’re all in this together, and every contribution, big or small, can make a difference. I’m honored to have the opportunity to use my skills to support mu country and its brave fighter pilots. It’s incredibly important to have the support of world-renowned athletes, not just in words but also in action.

WMN: Thank you so much for speaking with us today, Timur. We wish you all the best with your program and hope to see great results in the future.

Timur Fatkullin: Thank you for having me. It’s been a pleasure.
