During December, Holbeton will be displaying a festive Living Advent Calendar. If you’re not sure what this is, it’s a larger than life Advent calendar that is out in the streets of Holbeton and Ford, for everyone to enjoy.
Each evening during Advent, a different house (due to popularity there is often more than one) will reveal their festive picture, resulting in 24+ different window displays, to brighten up the winter nights. Displays are lit up 5pm – 8pm.
The event was kicked off at Holbeton Village Stores who created a personalised ‘12 days of Christmas’ display and accompanying song, featuring the societies and groups in Holbeton. The finale is at the Mildmay Colours pub on 24th December.
