Red Bull boss Christian Horner stuck it to former world champion Damon Hill after Max Verstappen‘s win in Brazil.
Hill was hugely critical of Verstappen’s elbows-out approach in Mexico last month, which landed him with a pair of 10-second time penalties.
“It is possible to race fairly and that is something I’m not sure that Max is capable of,” Hill said in the lead-up to Sunday’s race in Sao Paulo.
However, after witnessing a supreme Verstappen performance, Hill admitted that he had ‘shown his brilliance’.
Horner pounced on his opportunity to needle the Englishman, and he said: “I think we’re going to have to get that on record that Damon said something nice!”
