Luke Littler continues to make history as he stormed through to the fourth round of the World Darts Championship. The 16-year-old beat Matt Campbell 4-1 at Alexandra Palace on Wednesday, while Michael van Gerwen was also victorious.
Littler has taken the tournament by storm and has set up a potential clash against five-time champion Raymond van Barneveld. The teenager sped into a 3-0 lead against Campbell before holding his nerve to see out the win.
Van Gerwen brushed aside Richard Veenstra 4-0 to set up a fourth-round match against either Stephen Bunting or Florian Hempl. Bunting is in action in today’s afternoon session with Gerwyn Price playing this evening against Brendan Dolan.
Joe Cullen faces Ryan Searle and Ross Smith comes up against Chris Dobey this afternoon. Luke Humphries and Ricardo Pietreczko go head to head tonight before Ricky Evans and Daryl Gurney battle for a spot in the last 16.
