John Part has warned Luke Littler that he is in for a ‘fiery’ third round clash against Matt Campbell.
The 16-year-old Littler has been one of the stars of the World Darts Championship.
However, the further he advances, the tougher his competition is set to become.
Campbell stands in Littler’s path to the fourth round, with the pair clashing at 7pm on Wednesday.
“He’s going to have another guy in Matt Campbell who can be in and out, but the thing with Matt that presents a challenge for Luke is Matt will respond and get involved with all the celebrating,” Part told Sky Sports.
“It’s another sort of opponent for Luke to face – Matt Campbell and Andrew Gilding are very different personalities.
“I think it’s going to be a lot more fiery up there tonight.”
Part also believes Michael van Gerwen is in for a ‘bumpy ride’ against fellow Dutchman Richard Veenstra.
He continued: “MVG is playing a fellow Dutchman in Richard Veenstra and he’s playing really well. I think that could be a bumpy ride for MVG.”
