ARSENAL’S unbeaten run in the Premier League has come to an end.
The Gunners have suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of bitter rivals Manchester United courtesy of a debut goal from Antony and a Marcus Rashford double.
Gabriel Martinelli thought he had given his side the advantage just 12 minutes into the game with a collected finish into the bottom right corner.
But, like a fair few goals this weekend, it was controversially chalked off for an earlier challenge on Christian Eriksen.
The Red Devils then went on to break the deadlock as the new £85million man Antony escaped his marker down the right before cutting inside and placing the ball past Aaron Ramsdale in goal.
Arsenal began to grow back into the game as they dominated the middle and Bukayo Saka levelled the score.
But, it didn’t take long for Marcus Rashford to fire Erik ten Hag’s side back in front…. and then extend the advantage.
