CHELSEA midfielder Hakim Ziyech is reportedly keen on the prospect of a return to Ajax.
The midfielder, 29, has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
He arrived in London two years ago but has since failed to establish himself as a regular first team starter.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is now open to offloading him on a permanent basis.
Manchester United were interested in pursuing a deal, but they have since reverted attention back to signing Brazilian winger Antony.
And now Ajax are interested in bringing him back to the Eredivisie.
According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, Ziyech is keen to re-join his former club.
The Morocco international spent four years with the Dutch giants before joining Chelsea in 2020.
During that time he scored 49 goals and assisted 81 in 165 appearances.
If Ajax were to complete a deal for Ziyech, who is expected to cost just £8million, it could open the door for Man Utd to sign top target Antony.

The Red Devils had a £67.5m bid for the winger rejected earlier this week.
But, with Ziyech set to make an arrival, the Eredivisie champions may be more inclined to accept a new offer.
Man Utd chiefs have already established PSV winger Cody Gakpo as an alternative target if they cannot sign Antony.
The Dutchman would be a more affordable option with PSV expecting just £34m for his services.
