Saturday Night Live host Inde Navarrette made a dig at Shane Gillis in her opening monologue of Saturday’s (31 October) Halloween episode.
The Obsession star began by speaking about her character in the hit horror film, before teasing her upcoming role as Rogue in X-Men.
Explaining that her preparations for the role have involved a lot of physical training, Navarrette joked: “I know it’s really important for Marvel that you get really fit, so I’ve been working out a lot. So every morning I put on my little whore outfit, and I hit the gym.”
The remark appeared to respond to the comedian’s controversial SNL opening monologue, during which he delivered a bizarre aside about women’s gymwear.
