Strictly Come Dancing 2026 latest: Lawrence Robb struggles with the Jive as Delta Goodrem makes comeback

Second celebrity eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing

Series 24 of Strictly Come Dancing is now on its fifth week, with Chris Appleton, Melanie Walters, and Dame Sarah Storey having already been eliminated from the competition.

As the popular BBC reality series moves on from last week’s icon-themed installment, celebrities including reality star Dani Dyer, musician Delta Goodrem, and actor Jaime Winstone remain in contention.

Ex-footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips is being tipped by some bookmakers as the likeliest next celebrity to leave the show, with betting shop Coral offering odds of 4/6.

Wright-Phillips is this week performing a jive to “Faith” by Stevie Wonder feat Ariana Grande, alongside his professional partner, Alexis Warr.

Last week, Story became the third celebrity to be eliminated, alongside pro partner Julian Caillon, following a dance-off with Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu.

Judges Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse voted unanimously to keep the latter pair on the show.

Strictly Come Dancing Week Five will begin at 6.30pm on BBC One tonight, and airs until at 8.35pm. The public vote is then opened.

The results show will air at 7.10pm on Sunday on BBC One, and will feature a performance of a fitness-inspired routine led by Melanie C, formerly of the Spice Girls.

Here are the judges’ comments for Will…

Shirley: “Your Cuban break, you missed it, you were both on different feet. But I am so entertained by you. Not only did you have a good action, your body action is starting to get flow now. You really gave something so entertaining. You’re a force to be reckoned with, I can tell you.”

Anton: “The beginning was extraordinary. And then it kicked off and it was all magnificent. I can’t tell you the difference between [week one] and this. Well done.”

Craig: “If I saw my father pushing a pram like that darling, I’d be concerned. It was like chewing a toffee with your bottom, darling. What I loved about it was your commitment to that straight leg and hip action. I loved it.”

Motsi: “It was a great build-up, Dianne, you’re doing great work. To do it on your own solo at the beginning… You are the one to watch.”

Naturally, they’re really leaning into the new dad theme. And you know what, I’m not hating it.

Also, Will’s hip movements are extraordinary.

Will is up now – appropriately dancing a cha-cha to “Daddy” by Della Reese, in a nod to the fact he and his (irl) partner welcomed a baby boy less than two weeks ago.

Will absolutely thrived with his Jive to Elton John’s “Crocodile Rock” last week, so this week the big question is whether he can match the high bar he’s now set for himself.

At this point, I honestly do feel really bad for predicting that Graeme surely wouldn’t last long in the competition.

Here are the judges’ comments…

Motsi: “Every week you bring something different. I love the way you move. I only have one tiny thing: When you start to dance, you go from this tall man to [being scrunched up]. Stay up there!”

Shirley: “There was a little mistake at the end. But let’s take that aside… I nearly fell off my chair. [The rest] is exactly what I wanted to see. You’re so disciplined when you train your dogs, and I can tell you’re disciplined when she’s training you.”

Anton: “You are amazing. That was the best ballroom dance we’ve seen in the whole series so far. It had all the elements of proper old school ballroom dancing.”

Craig: “You did mistime that end entirely. And I would have liked to see in the frame, a lot more ‘Y’. It was a bit skippy for me in certain places but you covered that floor brilliantly.”

And here are his scores… 7, 8, 7 and 9 (Graeme’s first!). That’s a total of 31.

Oh, I do love an outfit reveal! This is a very fun routine.

It’s Dogfather time. Hands down the most surprising star of the series, canine expert Graeme Hall has made it very clear that he hasn’t come to play.

His Abba-themed Salsa had it all last week – and his partner Lauren made it clear that she’s not going easy on him when it comes to the choreography. Tonight they’re dancing a Tango to “Hernando’s Hideaway” by The Johnston Brothers.

Lawrence’s scores are in…

He’s received a 4, 5, 4 and a 6 – a total of 19.

Here are the judges’ comments for Lawrence…

Craig: “I would have liked to have seen a much better Jive. It was flat-footed; you were completely out of time at the beginning. It wasn’t your best dance.”

Motsi: “It’s live, it’s nervous, people get voted off. What I like is that you recovered well. You had a few mistakes but you kept on pushing. All your other dances felt much better.”

Shirley: “First of all, you are 100% giving your best. I would have liked more rotation. You did have some good flicks but what let you down was that lack of concentration and too many mistakes.”

Anton: “I’ve had a lot of those over the years, where my partner and I do routines we haven’t agreed on. I think you’ve got great energy and commitment.”

Lawrence and Jowita are up next! They’re performing a Jive to “The Rockafeller Skank” by Fatboy Slim.

Lawrence was the favourite coming into the competition and with his Salsa last week, he proved exactly why that’s the case, as he practically launched Jowita into the air for some gravity-defying lifts.

Their Jive though… Lawrence got off completely on the wrong foot and has struggled to recover! Oh nooo! He could be in trouble here…

She’s received a 6, 6, 6 and a 7 – that’s a total of 25.
