Katie Price and Suella Braverman to be handcuffed together in new reality TV show

Former glamour model Katie Price and Reform UK MP Suella Braverman are set to be handcuffed together in the first celebrity spin-off of a popular reality show.

Celebrity Handcuffed will see Price and sitting MP Ms Braverman forced to do everything together while competing against other famous pairings.

Among the remaining duos are Love Island star turned campaigner Georgia Harrison and model Lady Victoria Hervey, as well as former footballer Neil Ruddock alongside drag queen Bimini.

In the civilian version of the Channel 4 programme, which launched in March, pairs of people with opposing views and habits were handcuffed 24/7, with £100,000 awarded to the pair lasting the longest.

Completing the celebrity lineup are Made In Chelsea’s Mark-Francis Vandelli and former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, plus celebrity DJ Fat Tony paired with Princess Olga Romanoff.

Jonathan Ross, who hosted the civilian version said: “I loved being part of the civilian series of Handcuffed, and I can’t wait to see how the celebrity version pans out.

“I’ve done my fair share of celebrity shows, but nothing quite like this.

It’s chaotic, it’s hilarious, and I’m so excited for viewers to see what happens when you handcuff a group of famous faces together and put them under pressure.”

Tim Hancock, commissioning editor at Channel 4, said: “Celebrity Handcuffed takes a format audiences couldn’t stop talking about and supercharges it with some truly unexpected pairings.

“Just like the civilian series, the celebrity version will be laugh-out-loud funny, gloriously awkward and full of surprises, and will capture something bigger about modern Britain: even when we seem to disagree on almost everything, we might have more in common than we think.”

The show is due to be released next year.

Last month, Price confirmed her split from her fourth husband, Lee Andrews, nine months after they married.

The former glamour announced she had tied the knot with the Dubai-based businessman in January – just a week after they met.

However, during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Price announced her marriage had broken down.

Speaking to hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls, she described their relationship as “exhausting”.

She said: “I did fall in love with this man. He’s intelligent, we have fun…I do believe he fell in love with me. I still love the man I met…but I can’t take it.”

Price then called the end of their marriage “really sad”.

“There’s only so much I can take,” she added.
