Another tip before Glastonbury tickets go on sale today…

Avoid multiple tabs! As stated on the Glastonbury website, trying to buy tickets on multiple tabs could actually put you at risk of confusing the ticket sales process and result in a failed transaction. “We strongly advise that you use just one browser tab when trying to book tickets, in order to avoid possible problems with your transaction,” Glastonbury says.

The latest headline rumours for Glastonbury 2027

The Somerset-based festival took a break this year to allow the farm land to recover, having seen Rod Stewart, The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo perform in 2025.

Now, Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed that next year’s headliners have signed on the dotted line – although there are two huge acts who won’t be making an appearance at Worthy Farm.

Remember not to panic when Glastonbury tickets go on sale…

It’s not over until the SOLD OUT sign appears on the Glastonbury website. So don’t freak out if you see a message notifying fans that “all available tickets have now been allocated”. That means the orders are being processed, but at least a few people end up running out of time… meaning the tickets are up for grabs again.

A word of caution: your registration numbers will be locked for up to five minutes if your details are entered incorrectly, an attempt to book is already held against your registration number, or your five minutes on the booking page ends. If the transaction fails and tickets are still available, your registration number will be released to give you the chance to try again!

Want Glastonbury tickets? Here’s how you do it…

Hardcore Glastonbury lovers know that if you want a strong chance of getting a ticket, you need to be in a syndicate.

For years, ticket hopefuls have teamed up with other groups (you can apply for six tickets at a time) by entering all their registration details into one vast spreadsheet – the idea being that if multiple people from the same group get through to the ticket-buying page, they can purchase tickets for another on the sheet.

While a lot of the time, a syndicate might consist of just a few groups, it can get serious. I’m currently in a rather intense syndicate of 98 people, which has threatened to cull members from the sheet if they’re not active and accounted for on WhatsApp minutes before the sale starts. It’s not life and death, but it is Glastonbury!
