Alex Scott transfer decision made
According to The Sun, those in power at Old Trafford aren’t actively pursuing the 22-year-old, who is attracting more concrete interest from Arsenal.
The newly-crowned Premier League champions have already enquired about Scott’s availability but were quickly rebuffed by Bournemouth, who are reluctant to lose him this summer.
Spurs submitted the highest offer in negotiations with West Ham, whereas the Red Devils were unwilling to match their valuation of the player, according to The Athletic.
United are now preparing to shift their focus to other targets and it remains to be seen if they will revise their stance on Scott after missing out on Fernandes.

It’s claimed the former United boss wants to sign a left-footed central defender and has earmarked Martinez as the ideal candidate.
There is only a year remaining on the 28-year-old’s current contract, although United have the option to extend it by a further 12 months.
