The 2026 World Cup is almost upon us, with just one day to go until the tournament opener between Mexico and South Africa.
The participating teams are stepping up their preparations and that includes England, with Thomas Tuchel’s men looking to finally end 60 years of hurt. The Three Lions are in action tonight as they take on Costa Rica in their second and final warm-up match.
They start their campaign in a week when they face Croatia in their group opener (9pm kick-off).
For Scotland, all eyes are on their opening game against Haiti in the early hours of Sunday morning (2am kick-off).
There has been a big build-up to the World Cup, but controversy is raging off the pitch. Referee Omar Artan was refused entry to the USA on Tuesday after an 11 hour interview at boarder control, sparking a furious response.
