How did Diane Keaton get her start?
Diane Keaton — who was born Diane Hall in Los Angeles in 1946 — made her Broadway debut in the original 1968 production of Hair.
The musical set Keaton on the road to stardom. She returned to Broadway the next year for Woody Allen’s Play It Again, Sam. Her performance earned her a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress.

Keaton survived by her two children
Diane Keaton is survived by her 29-year-old daughter, Dexter, and her 25-year-old son, Duke.
Keaton adopted Dexter in 1996 and Duke in 2001, People reports.
“They have no interest in what I do, which I think is very healthy. We live a relatively normal — well, sort of normal — life,” she told the outlet in 2007.
