A trailer for Melania Trump’s new docuseries has left the internet divided.
Melania, the Series “reveals never-before-told stories, offering unprecedented insight into Melania Trump’s life, including the extraordinary days immediately following the 47th Presidential Inauguration,” per Amazon MGM Studios. Divided into two episodes — one titled “Family & Trust” and the second “Pride & Honor” — the docuseries will premiere November 20 on Prime Video.
The show comes months after an Amazon MGM Studios film chronicled the first lady throughout the 20 days leading up to her husband’s second inauguration.
In the trailer for the new series, Melania is heard in a voiceover saying: “I’m a mother, a wife, also first lady.” As images of her son, Barron, flash across the screen, she says: “He’s my priority. He will always be my priority.”
The trailer has sparked intense reactions from viewers, especially with its release coming just days after Trump and the Republicans got walloped in the midterm elections.
“What a perfect timing, you can’t make that s*** up,” one person wrote on X as another called her “tone deaf” and said: “This seriously has to be a joke right now.”
“After Tuesday night’s electoral massacre, the idea that the public is clamoring for even more Trump family content is astonishingly out of touch. Read the room, Amazon,” someone else added.
“A series? The film bombed like f***,” another wrote, referring to the film released earlier this year.
“So embarrassing,” another added as someone else said: “Everyone should boycott @amazon and @PrimeVideo on 11/20 #justsaying.”

Other viewers weren’t as offended by the trailer, with one person writing on X: “Ok, I’ll bite. I think I’m going to watch it, just for the shoes and the bags. Killer!”
“Melania Trump is a great First Lady,” someone else said.

The new series comes just months after the release of the eponymous, Melania, which chronicled the 20 days leading up to Donald Trump’s second inauguration in 2025.
The Amazon MGM Studios film was panned by critics and earned just over $16 million globally. It made a financial loss for the studio after its hefty cost — $40 million for the documentary, with marketing alone costing an estimated $35 million — and sparked speculation that Amazon had made the investment to get close to the president.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos defended Melania’s $75 million price tag in an interview with CNBC in May, deeming it a “good business decision.”
In announcing the new docuseries, Melania’s senior adviser Marc Beckman told Real America’s Voice host Eric Bolling that the project is a “completely different look at her world” than the Brett Ratner-directed film.
“We open the window, a little bit, into her private life, her marriage, her family,” Beckman explained. “We open a little deeper into her career, as well as her philanthropy, but with the docuseries, it’s a little bit different. It’s shot different. It’s a different story. It’s a full new experience for the viewers.”
He added: “I hope everybody tunes in because it’s gonna show a part of the first lady that hasn’t been seen yet.”
