Love Island star Georgia Steel announces pregnancy months after engagement with footballer Harry Clarke

Love Island contestant Georgia Steel is pregnant with her first child alongside her footballer fiancé Harry Clarke.

The reality star and Preston North End player revealed the news in an Instagram video showing the couple dancing on a beach as Steel holds her bump.

Writing beside the post, they stated: “Dreams do come true.”

The pair were initially linked in September 2024 and officially confirmed their romance on Instagram in spring 2025.

They later shared their engagement in May 2026 with a video showing Clarke proposing on the beach at sunset.

She wrote: “A million times yes! In this lifetime and the next.

“I still can’t believe we get to do forever together. You’re everything I dreamed of and more, my person.”

Steel, 28, first appeared on Love Island in 2018, in the fourth series of the ITV2 reality show.

In 2024 she appeared on Love Island: All Stars and coupled up with Toby Aromolaran, but they split just one month after the show ended.

In 2019, Steel called on the popular dating programme to feature a wider range of body types.

“I think it would be amazing for different bodies to go in there because it’s such a big show now and there are a lot of youngsters that watch it, I feel like it is something that youngsters do look up to,” Steele told Press Association.

“I have a lot of young girl followers that look up to me and I’m aware of that and I would never want to make them feel they had to do certain things or change how they are.”

“Bigger girls who are naturally a bit bigger can’t be looking at slim girls and changing themselves to be like that, that is so unhealthy,” she added.

Commenting on her own experience on Love Island, Steel said: “Mentally I feel like you have to be very, very strong to shift your whole lifestyle into this crazy whirlwind.”

Clarke joined Preston in August 2026 from Premier League side Ipswich Town.
