Howard Stern is losing a channel at SiriusXM.
According to an update to the channel lineup shared on the SiriusXM blog, Howard 101 is no more.
“Among the most notable changes, Radio Andy moves from Ch. 102 to Ch. 101, while Howard 100 remains on Ch. 100 and Howard 101 leaves the lineup,” the blog post read. Radio Andy is a 24/7 pop channel curated and hosted by Bravo executive Andy Cohen.
The changes will take effect September 1.
The move comes just weeks after Page Six reported that Stern laid off about a dozen staffers from his radio show. Following the layoffs, radio host and producer Rahsaan Rogers announced his departure from the show.
Stern, 72, has been hosting his flagship radio show for decades alongside co-host Robin Quivers. In 2004, he signed a massive five-year, $500 million contract with Sirius Satellite Radio to transition away from terrestrial FM radio. His show eventually launched on Sirius channels, Howard 100 and Howard 101, in 2006.
Stern signed a new deal with SiriusXM last December after rumors swirled that he would be departing the network.
“I am happy to announce that I have figured out a way to have it all,” Stern shared with listeners at the time. “More free time and continuing to be on the radio.”
Stern and SiriusXM were reportedly clashing over contract negotiations, so much so that last September, the radio host pulled a fast one on listeners and had them thinking he had left the network.
After postponing his return from summer break in September 2025, Stern was not behind the microphone for his originally scheduled first day back. Instead, Bravo star Cohen surprisingly showed up to host – and deliver some somber news to Stern’s fans.
“I know you’re expecting a big announcement from Howard, and this is actually not how things were meant to go,” Cohen sighed, adding: “Howard and the executive team at Sirius felt that it was best to kinda part ways now.”

With Cohen also announcing that the Howard Stern channel would now be christened “Andy 100,” a number of media outlets quickly published stories declaring that the 71-year-old Stern had departed from the network.
Following the reports of Cohen replacing him, Stern returned to the airwaves to “set the record straight,” stating that “everything you’ve been reading in the paper” about him and co-host Robin Quivers leaving “is completely false.” He also thanked Cohen for taking part in his on-air prank.
“Lest anyone think that was real, that was all masterminded by me,” Stern proudly stated.
However, it now seems as though the prank was foreshadowing, as Cohen has, in fact, taken over one of Stern’s SiriusXM channels.
