Liverpool are understood to be weighing up a move for Barcola and his PSG colleague Ibrahim Mbaye as they seek to strengthen their wide options. Senegal international Mbaye joined the PSG academy in 2018 from Versailles.
In 2024, he received a first-team call-up from Luis Enrique following standout performances in the youth setup. Mbaye has registered eight goals and 13 assists across 36 appearances for PSG and while he predominantly features on the right, he is capable of playing on the left flank.
