French Open matches delayed as semi-finalist left in tears on court

All matches outside of the main showcourts, Philippe-Chatrier and Suzanne-Lenglen, have been suspended at Roland Garros due to rain. These are junior and wheelchair matches.

Some matches were due to get underway but the players have not been able to take to the court due to the delay.

The matches suspended are:

Court 14 – Kamiji vs Griffioen, women’s wheelchair singles round one

Court 7 – Esquiva Banuls vs Mpetshi Perricard, girls singles round two

Court 6 – Preston vs Zoldakova, girls singles round two

Court 2 – Dotsenko vs Popa, girls singles round two

Court 4 – Miguel vs Cozad, boys singles round two

Court 8 – Alvarez vs Storck Franca, boys singles round two

Court 9 – Lin vs Sun, girls singles round two

Court 10 – Pushkareva vs Burcescu, girls singles round two

Court 11 – Ratzlaff vs Rodrigues, men’s wheelchair singles round one

Court 12 – Bos vs Guo, women’s wheelchair singles round one
