Fernandes Saudi U-turn, Chelsea deal collapses, Isak to Liverpool

The Alexander Isak to Liverpool saga has taken another twist.

According to Sky Sports, Wolves have rejected a second offer from Newcastle for Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Vitor Pereira’s side knocked back the £55million bid on Tuesday night, with talks expected to progress further soon.

The Magpies have insisted that Strand Larsen would replace Callum Wilson in Eddie Howe’s squad, after he departed as a free agent at the end of last season. However, with talks ongoing with Brentford over a deal for Yoane Wissa, the door may soon open for Isak’s exit.
