Glastonbury 2025 live: Lineup, BBC livestream, reviews and Neil Young, Charli XCX and Doechii sets

Into “Bullfrog” – Doechii

Rarely has an artist blown up so fully formed. Honestly, what can you fault in Doechii? Her flow is sublime, wordplay sharp and precise, delivery perfection. Each word lands loaded with venom, humour…

Oh, and now she’s sampling Nas’s “The World is Yours” before dropping into the delightfully creepy “Boiled Peanuts”, which to me is right out of the Cypress Hill playbook of psychedelia.

And here comes Doechii….

Oh my goodness, this is going to be a SHOW

‘Very small’ crowd for Neil Young

According to Mark Beaumont, who is there. Watching the live feed of Charli, meanwhile…

Charli XCX on the Other Stage at Glastonbury (BBC)

Charli XCX about to arrive on the Other Stage…

With an absolutely enormous crowd, wow. I wonder if this is a record-breaker?

Instead I’m admiring Neil Young and his band play ‘Cinnamon Girl’

Gorgeous, gritty rendition of Neil Young and Crazy Horse’s “Cinnamon Girl” from his 1969 album Everybody Knows This is Nowhere. Often cited as a major influence or precursor for the grunge movement.

Neil Young – has the godfather of grunge just given us the first Maga anthem?

Reminder of this great piece by Stevie Chick as Young’s set gets underway:

BBC switch time

Right, I’m jumping over to watch Doechii on West Holts, Annabel is watching Charli XCX. We also have reviewers stationed at each, while Mark Beaumont is at Neil Young, obvs.
