Nick Kyrgios blasts BBC and leaks Wimbledon punditry replacement with brutal dig

Nick Kyrgios has taken a brutal swipe at the pundit who will replace him on the BBC at Wimbledon this year. The 30-year-old Australian was a popular debutant in the commentary box at SW19 in 2024, having been ruled out of competing after wrist surgery.

He’s returned to the ATP Tour this season but was forced to miss the French Open with a knee problem. The 2022 finalist and hoped to be fit in time to play at the All English Tennis Club, but has since confirmed he won’t be entering after suffering a “small setback” in his recovery. In an interview with the Guardian, Kyrgios also revealed his replacement.
