Lewis Hamilton dons Ferrari colours for first time as close ally returns

Lewis Hamilton has appeared in Ferrari’s iconic colours for the first time since joining the Italian team ahead of the new campaign.

The seven-time world champion arrived in Maranello earlier this week to begin work in his new surroundings. On Instagram, he posted a picture of himself outside the home of Enzo Ferrari, sparking a frenzy with the post gaining over five million likes.

Hamilton has since followed up by sharing an image of himself wearing the iconic red overalls he will sport during his debut season with Ferrari. He kept the caption short and sweet, writing: “FIRST TIME IN RED.”

It comes after it emerged that Hamilton would be reuniting with Angela Cullen, his former personal trainer who worked alongside him for seven years between 2016 and 2023.

Cullen left Hamilton’s team in a surprise move two years ago before taking up a new role with IndyCar racer Marcus Armstrong. She is expected to give up that position in order to rejoin Hamilton as he embarks on a fresh challenge at Ferrari.
