Man Utd medical ‘today’ as Chelsea plot transfer raid on Premier League rival

Liverpool icon Robbie Fowler believes Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave the club on a free transfer this summer.

However, he has backed Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah to remain at Anfield.

“From a club point of view, to let the likes of these three players go down to the last six months, they’re the questions that people probably want to ask,” Fowler explained on ITV.

“What will happen will happen. My own personal point of view and it’s certainly not inside information, I just think two of them will stay one of them will go and it’s up to the people at home to come to their own conclusions on that.”

When pressed, he added: “I think it’s fairly obvious, I think obviously Mo will stay and I think Virgil will stay.

“I love Trent as a player, I think he’s probably one of the best in the world at what he does and of course I’d love him to stay but we’ll see.”
