Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague end relationship with heartbreaking statement

Molly-Mae Hague has left fans heartbroken with the news of her split from Tommy Fury in a devastating statement.

The couple, both aged 25, who found love on Love Island in 2019, seemed to live a fairytale romance. They bought a house together, welcomed their daughter Bambi and got engaged last year.

Their love story has come to an unexpected halt, as Molly-Mae confided her sorrow to her followers, stating: “I never imagined our story would end, especially this way.”

While she kept the reasons for their breakup private, she expressed eternal gratitude for their daughter.

In a poignant Instagram post on Wednesday afternoon, she penned: “Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.

“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

“I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all. Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I’ll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x.”

The romance appeared to be under strain mere hours after Molly-Mae shared snapshots of her dreamy retreat, posting images of her plush lodge room on Instagram Stories. Strikingly, she seems to have scrubbed these posts from existence.

After welcoming little Molly-Mae to the world, she’s been refreshingly candid about the motherhood maze and the hurdles it hurls her way. Earlier in the month, she divulged to her fans: “I, to be honest with you, have been not feeling… like, I mean this week has just been a lot of emotions.”

She opened up about Tommy’s demanding professional life, saying: “When he’s home from doing work and stuff, he’s so incredible and so helpful. I can’t say any different, like, he’s such an incredible dad, but I have been this week, like, just really… mum life has been mum lifeing.”

Continuing her heart-to-heart, Molly-Mae shared her tough stretch but reassured that it’s part of the parenting journey, commenting: “I feel like we’re going through a little bit of a challenging phase,” before adding detail about juggling her life’s demands.

Rumours about a split in May were squashed by Molly-Mae herself after chatter intensified when she was noticeably absent from Tyson Fury’s fight, despite the rest of the family turning up in full force. It emerged later that Molly-Mae was attending her sister’s hen party at the time.
