Nicolo Zaniolo, who graced the Premier League last season on loan with Aston Villa, is making his way back to Italy.

The attacking star left Serie A after sealing a lucrative switch to Galatasaray last year, but it hasn’t worked out.

Now, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, it is a matter of time before Zaniolo heads back to Italy’s top flight after agreeing a deal with Europa League winners Atalanta.

Zaniolo, who has in recent years been linked with Tottenham and Liverpool, will undergo a medical within the next day or so.
