Genoa star Radu Dragusin is reportedly set to join Tottenham, following a hijack attempt by Bayern Munich.
Spurs were closing in on an agreement for the centre-back over the weekend before Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern arrived with an offer of their own to complicate the ordeal.
Both bids were accepted by Genoa, leaving the decision in the hands of Dragusin.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Romanian international has now decided to join Spurs after they lodged a fresh bid for the defender overnight – with Djed Spence set to head in the opposite direction on loan.
Ange Postecoglou has made it no secret that he is keen to acquire the services of a defender as soon as possible, and the vote of confidence in his project from Dragusin will be a welcome boost to his side’s top four hopes.
