Man Utd exit close as Arsenal want Inacio and Chelsea eye ‘next Messi’

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that he wants Conor Gallagher to remain at the club in January.

The England midfielder’s future remains up in the air as he has just over 18 months left on his current contract, with the club tempted to cash in to help raise funds for January incomings and ease Financial Fair Play concerns.

But Pochettino has made it clear that he wants Gallagher to stay. “That is between the club and the player,” Pochettino replied when asked for the latest on Gallagher’s contract status.

“I don’t need to talk too much because it is not my decision. For me, he is the type of player that the club needs to have.”
