Novak Djokovic has opened up on how he has held discussions with ATP president Andrea Gaudenzi concerning recent complaints over tennis ball changes.
Ben Shelton became the latest professional to hit out at the constant changes in the size of tennis balls, which several players believe are causing injuries on the tour.
The constant adjustment is said to be harming the players, forcing Djokovic to step in.
“Actually, (Sebastian) Korda, the player that I practised with today, told me that this is fifth tournament now in a row that he’s been playing with different balls,” Djokovic said.
“Yeah, this inconsistency is an issue, and that’s what most of the players, and also of course including myself, we complain about.”
