OMAN is the latest country to scrap Covid tests for vaccinated Brits.

The change will make travel easier and cheaper for Brits planning a holiday to the Middle Eastern country.

Oman is the latest country to scrap Covid tests for vaccinated Brits, making holidays cheaper and easier[/caption]

Vaccinated Brits will still need to provide evidence of health insurance that covers Covid to be allowed into Oman.

Unvaccinated Brits are still banned from entering, unless they can prove a medical reason which prevents them from getting jabbed.

According to TTG Media, a spokesperson for Experience Oman said the move to relax the travel requirements will “pave the way” for “hassle-free” travel and encourage international visitors to the country.

Oman joins the growing list of countries that vaccinated Brits can enter without needing to take a Covid test.

On Tuesday, Cyprus and Italy scrapped their Covid test entry requirements for double jabbed holidaymakers, and last week, Dubai did the same.

Qatar has removed the UK from its red list, meaning UK arrivals no longer have to self-isolate when they enter the country.

The changes are a sign of the global relaxation of Covid rules, making it easier for people to travel.

However, several European countries have put expiration dates on vaccine certificates, meaning Brits who were jabbed too long ago will be considered unvaccinated.

Popular holiday hotspots including Spain, France and Italy have brought the rules in, which places a time limit on how long vaccines are valid for.

If you had your second jab more than nine months ago, you need to have had a booster to easily enter Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland or Austria.
