Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Xhaka wants Gladbach transfer, Lacazette contract LATEST, Stoica transfer updates

GOOD MORNING GUNNERS FANS

Granit Xhaka admits he would love a return to Borussia Monchengladbach once his time at Arsenal ends.

The midfielder said: “I never made the move from Borussia to Arsenal for the money. It was a dream for me to play in England,

“I have just extended my contract, which still has two and a half years to run.

“Then I’ll be 32, and if Max Eberl (Monchengladbach’s director of sport) is willing to bring me back when I’m 32, my door will be open.”

Meanwhile, former Arsenal boss Unai Emery is the latest shock addition to the list of candidates being considered for the Man United job.

According to German paper Bild, the Villarreal gaffer is in full contention to take charge at Old Trafford.

But there has so far been no contact between United and Emery after they played each other in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Finally, Arsenal are reportedly set to promote young forward Mika Biereth to their senior squad.

Football London claims Mikel Arteta has been highly impressed by the teen ace.

Biereth has five goals and three assists in 12 games this term.

And he could very well soon be appearing for Arsenal’s first team in the near future.
