With the season heading toward’s a dramatic conclusion, the drivers are in Turkey as Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen renew their rivalry.

Going into the race, the Mercedes driver leads by just TWO points following a dramatic showdown in Sochi.

But he will start 11th this weekend despite setting the fastest time in qualifying.

That’s because he received a ten-place grid penalty for changing his internal combustion engine.

Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas starts first with Hamilton’s title rival Verstappen in second.

What time does the F1 Turkish GP start?

  • The Turkish Grand Prix takes place on Sunday, October 10 – TODAY.
  • Lights out will be at the earlier time of 1pm.
