Former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi took to social media on Sunday, to share a couple of pictures which show their journey since 2008. The husband-wife duo can be seen in a cheerful mood in both the images posted on Instagram. “2008 ….. n the years after ! #flashback #timeaftertime,” read the caption on the post uploaded on the social media platform. The former World Cup-winning captain and Sakshi had tied the knot in a private ceremony back in 2010. The wicketkeeper-batsman was last seen on the cricket field during the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Dhoni led the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2020, having been the captain of the franchise since the inaugural edition of the tournament. The Chennai-based franchise failed to qualify for the playoffs of the cash-rich league for the first time in their history.
The 39-year-old scored 200 runs in 14 games at an average of 25 and strike rate of 116.27, having played his first competitive tournament since the semifinals of the 2019 ODI World Cup.
Dhoni will be a part of the CSK setup in the upcoming edition of the IPL as well, having confirmed the same before the toss for an IPL 2020 clash against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).

The 39-year-old is one of the most successful skippers in the IPL, having led the Chennai-based franchise to a title win in three editions. CSK won the title in the 2010, 2011 and 2018 seasons of the IPL. Dhoni has played 331 T20s so far, with 204 of those IPL matches for CSK.
The 39-year-old retired from all forms of international cricket in August 2020.
