Australia vs India Score Update: Steve Smith is looking impressive so far in the 2nd ODI.© AFP
Steve Smith is looking quite confident in the middle alongside Marnus Labuschagne, following the dismissals of David Warner and Aaron Finch. Earlier, David Warner and Aaron Finch delivered a strong start after Australia won the toss and opted to bat against India. Finch was dismissed for 60 runs off 69 deliveries, having registered his 28th ODI half-century after reaching the 50-run mark with a six. Warner completed his 23rd ODI half-century, off 39 deliveries, making it back-to-back 50s for the Australian opener. The two teams are battling it out in the second ODI of the three-match series at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Moises Henriques has been included in the Australian lineup, as a replacement for Marcus Stoinis who is sidelined due to an injury. Finch termed Henriques’ ability to bowl as the factor which made a difference while deciding on a replacement for Stoinis. The Indian team is unchanged from the 11 in the first ODI. The visitors need a win to stay alive in the series, after being defeated in the opening match held at the same venue by a margin of 66 runs. (LIVE SCORECARD)
