You will be part of a team of technicians who cover all aspects of laboratory work involved in processing and storing biological samples. Part-time hours will be considered for this post.

It is a requirement of the post that you can work some Saturdays and join the out of hours rota to be on call approximately one week in six.  You must be willing to work shifts including late evenings and additional weekends to provide cover for clinics when they are running.

  • Receipt logging and retrieval of biological samples
  • Out of hours cover on rotation including lone working on evenings and weekends. Will be part of a 24hr on call rota in case of freezer breakdown
