Senior Power BI Developer

Working within the Planning & Analytics Office (PAO), you will play a key role in the Business Intelligence team and provide expert knowledge of Power BI that supports the strategic direction of the department and University.

You will contribute to the BI, analytics and reporting activity of PAO including the provision of data analytics and reporting to inform the University Planning Cycle. You will have proven experience in BI visualisation tools and proficiency in analytical methods and data manipulation.  This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to showcase Power BI and empower the existing team on best practise and use of the toolset.

Ideally you will possess a degree in a quantitative discipline, you will have significant experience of working in a Business Intelligence related role, with the ability to effectively convey complicated information in a variety of clear, concise and meaningful formats. You should have expert working knowledge of Power BI and skills with other visualisation software and databases. Experience of working in higher education will be advantageous but not essential as key skills will be transferable.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for a period of 12 months due to business demand.
