The School of Creative Industries is expanding in response to this thriving sector within the UK economy. Investment in the UK Film and Television industries and the increased focus on emerging digital platforms and the Communications sector means we need to broaden our staff base to support our developing portfolio of courses.

The University of Gloucestershire is offering an opportunity for a talented and well-connected sports journalist to join the team teaching on our popular BA Sports Journalism course. The successful candidate will have some teaching experience and a real flair for sharing their expertise and knowledge with developing new journalists. They mightcome from one specialist area of sport or have experience reporting across a wide range.

The school has a reputation for providing high quality industry-linked education and many of our students begin paid, professional-level work while still studying with us. Our courses are accredited by Screenskills, the NCTJ and BJTC, are approved by UK Music and we have trainer status from Avid, Adobe, Nuke and Pro-tools. We attract talented and motivated students who are ready to move into the workplace as soon as they graduate.
