Facilities Assistant (Forum)

This full-time (36.5hrs per week) post is available immediately on a permanent contract.

Hours to be worked, Mon-Fri 14:00-22:00 with flexibility required to cover large university events on request such as Open Days and Graduations.

Summary of the role

You will be joining a motivated and experienced team delivering a first-class service in The Forum Complex on the Streatham Campus.

The role has various elements in what is a fast-paced environment in support of providing an excellent user experience for students, staff and visitors and working very closely with our Commercial Development and Events team in support of large events.

We are seeking a motivated individual who has a proven record in delivering excellent customer service, has prior experience in dealing with people and a wide range of inquiries by phone, email, and face to face. Also someone who is proactive, knows what ‘excellent’ looks like and can ‘walk the floor’ and rectify any issues and ensure the facility reflects a Russell Group university and supports the end-user experience

Signposting visitors, VIPs, students, and staff will also be a part of the daily remit. It is expected that the successful applicant will be well presented and flexible in their approach to the demands of the business to provide an exemplary front facing experience.
