Research Excellence Manager

We are looking for a creative, knowledgeable and adaptable Research Excellence Manager to support the delivery of our BU2025 strategy particularly in terms of increasing research quality, visibility and influence.

You will work closely with our academic community to develop and lead an enhanced service to further develop our research excellence. This will include managing the research planning and review cycle and implementing initiatives to ensure that all research is high quality and impactful in preparation for future research assessment exercises. You will lead on key initiatives to strengthen the excellence and sustainability of the University’s research environment. This will include overseeing the University’s Research & Knowledge Exchange Development Framework to support colleagues to engage actively with excellent research.
