Apprenticeship Subcontracting Manager

About us: UWE Bristol is now an established provider in delivering Higher and Degree level apprenticeships.  The University has a 91% employer satisfaction rating and was rated a Top 50 Training Provider in 2021/22.  To support the growth of apprenticeship programmes, the University has invested in a dedicated Apprenticeship Hub service.  The role of the Hub is to support the delivery of apprenticeships, ensuring programmes are compliant with external agency governance and that employers, apprentices and stakeholders receive service excellence.  This is an exciting time to join UWE Bristol and support the ambitious growth of our apprenticeship provision as a leading provider regionally and nationally.

About you: As Apprenticeship Subcontracting Manager, you will work closely with colleagues in the Hub service to provide support in the delivery and coordination of our apprenticeship programmes.  As part of the team, you will have an exciting opportunity to be a part of the ongoing growth of apprenticeships, specifically around our apprenticeship subcontracting activities.  Your role will provide oversight of the activities between UWE Bristol and various partners in the delivery of high-quality apprenticeships, ensuring service excellence, and apprenticeship compliance.  Working for a large Higher Education Institution you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the university to gain a range of experiences.  You should have a good understanding of English apprenticeships, including compliance and funding within the Education & Skills Funding Agency guidance and Ofsted frameworks.
