Teaching Radiographer

The role

You will be expected to participate fully in training undergraduate dental students (BDS and Hygiene/Therapy) on clinics. Dental students begin Dental Radiography in the 2nd year and continue through to the final BDS exam at the end of the 5th year. Hygiene/Therapy students take Radiographs from Year 1 through to graduation in the 3rd year.

What will you be doing?

We are seeking outstanding individuals with an interest in dentistry, particularly radiography that supports general dental procedures, who will take part in developing education at an undergraduate (BDS) level.  You will be involved in radiography teaching and assessment on the clinics, both using simulators and with patients, and in developing undergraduate teaching.

Applicants must hold BSc (Hons) in Radiography or equivalent registerable qualification and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
