Emergency Management and Business Continuity Assistant

This is a new exciting role working within the Human Resources Directorate supporting the Emergency Management and Business Continuity Manager.

You will provide administrative support which will include (but not be limited to):

  • Acting as a key point of contact for the Emergency Management and Business Continuity Team
  • Liaising with internal and external partners where appropriate
  • Monitoring email inboxes and filtering where appropriate, escalating important issues where required
  • Ensuing membership lists of relevant groups and committees are up to date
  • Producing agendas, minutes, action plans where required for meetings under the direction of the Emergency Management and Business Continuity Manager
  • Updating the SharePoint team site under the direction of your Manager in liaison with other HR colleagues

As a highly organised and professional member of the team you will possess effective verbal and written communication skills and have experience of working in a customer service environment. You will work well within a team and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Share Point/Office 365.

You will have numeracy and literacy at secondary education level (or equivalent demonstrable experience).

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for a period of 12 months due to business demand.
