We are inviting applications to join the Social Work team at the University of Plymouth and be part of its teaching, research and practice education. Social Work at Plymouth offers undergraduate programmes leading to application for registration with Social Work England. Our BA (Hons) Social Work is currently rated as third in England according to the ‘Complete University Guide’. We are therefore seeking dynamic individuals with a passion for social work, to support and inspire the next generation of social work professionals.

You will work as part of the Social Work team to provide high quality innovative support, teaching and research on our BA programmes. This includes supporting students on placement and contributing to the design and preparation of teaching materials, course planning, delivery and assessment. We are looking for individuals who will be able to make a contribution to research informed practice. Registration with Social Work England is essential.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.

This vacancy may involve working with children and/or vulnerable adults and any appointment will be subject to receipt of clearance for the Protection of Children from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
